Summary of Profile

OMOTOSHO Omolola Elizabeth (Ph.D) had both the Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech., 2000) and Masters of Technology (M. Tech., 2005) in Applied Biochemistry from Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). She had taught in school, worked in pharmaceutical industry and worked as a Laboratory Technologist in Health Centre. She joined the work force of Covenant University since February 22nd, 2005. She successfully bagged her doctoral award in Covenant University in the year 2014 and rose to become the Coordinator (Head of Unit), Biochemistry Programme in the Department of Biological Sciences (2015 to 2017). She had won awards both in Nigeria and abroad. She had published books in the area of food nutrients and their functionality. Her passion is in Functional Foods i.e. medicinal foods and Nutritional Biochemistry. She is also a crop farmer. She had communicated her research papers in international conferences in USA, Germany and Kuwait. She had published articles in both local and international journals. She teaches Biochemistry both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She had successfully supervised numerous undergraduate students, one Postgraduate Diploma student and three (3) Masters Students successfully. Dr. Omotosho had examined two (2) PhD theses from renowned university in the world.
Dr. Omotosho is a teacher of the Word of God and an Assistant Zonal Minister in Winners Satellite Fellowship. She has a passion for youths and children. She is presently the Children’s Church Leader in Faith Tabernacle Children’s Church, Canaan land, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria with a population of about 1000 volunteer teachers and over 10,000 children to the glory of God. She had been invited to minister in the Word and songs on many platforms in Living Faith Church and other gospel churches. She is a public/motivational speaker at schools and various organizations. She is also a Christian drama actress. Dr. Omotosho is a believer of Jesus Christ. She is a Minstrel and a member of the Faith Tabernacle Choir Living Faith Church.
She is happily married to Temidayo Victor OMOTOSHO (Ph.D), a Professor of Physics and Pastor in Living Faith Church. They are Blessed with wonderful children to the Glory of God.
