Summary of Profile
In his chequered but interesting 18 years of teaching and research in the university, he has supervised over 200 undergraduate projects, over 30 Master’s dissertations and successfully supervised two PhD candidates in Covenant University. He is presently supervising another PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology, Covenant University. He has attended both national and international conferences, workshops and seminars. He is also an established researcher with more than 70 published works in reputable national and international journal outlets. He has been considered for different editorial positions in both national and international journals, where he has constantly shared his experience and knowledge in reviewing academic works of colleagues from different parts of the globe. He is a Reviewer for International Sociology; Reviewer for International Journal of Civic Engagement and Social Change, Pennsylvania, USA; Article Editor and Reviewer, Sage Open, USA; Article Editor and Reviewer, IGI Global, Pennsylvania, USA; Reviewer, Academic Journals, Kenya; and Reviewer/Editor, College of Business and Social Science Journal, Covenant University, among others.
For his contributions to epistemic production and expansion, and for his pleasant work ethic that is both relational and results-oriented, he has received numerous awards from bodies such as the Manager’s Club, Industrial and Labour Relations 2006/2007 Finalists (OOU), the Nigerian Sociological and Anthropological Students Association (NSASA) and Association of Industrial and Labour Relations Students (ASILARS, OOU), and was recently considered for an international fellowship, among others. He is a member of many professional bodies some of which are the Nigerian Anthropological and Sociological Association (NASA), the International Sociological Association (ISA), the Nigerian Sociological Society (NSS), the Institute of Corporate and Business Affairs Management (ICBAM), Institute of Strategic Management (ISM), Chartered Institute of Project Management (CIPM) and a Fellow of the Institute of Management, Leadership and Productivity Development (IMLPD).
His industry experience spans a multi-sectoral spectrum with contributions to industry in the areas of management consulting and interventions, training and manpower development, market and social research, entrepreneurship development, business development services such as business plan preparation, proposal and feasibility studies writing, and others. He is committed to academic excellence, ingenuity and pragmatism and hinges his personal modus vivendi on core values of integrity, spirituality, excellence, and diligence. He desires to play a frontline role in the advancement of scholarship and business revolution on the African continent. He is the Youth Pastor, Living Faith Church Worldwide (aka Winners' Chapel), Abeokuta. He is happily married with children.
