Summary of Profile
Dr. Daramola Fisayo holds a bachelor degree in Agricultural Science, a master’s degree in Crop Protection and also a doctoral degree in Plant Nematology. She has researched into geographical distribution of plant-parasitic nematodes associated with agricultural crops in southern states of Nigeria. She has also focused on proffering effective management strategies for plant-parasitic nematodes of agriculture with environmentally benign and sustainable practices which are affordable to resource- poor farmers in evolving economies. Included in her research activities is the use of molecular tools for disease diagnosis.
Dr. Daramola has tutored and mentored students at various levels of the educational system in Nigeria and presently is a faculty at the department of Biological Sciences of Covenant University.
