Predictive analysis of degradation indices and microbial growth during enhanced biodegradation of municipal solid wastes in Uyo, Nigeria.
This work highlighted the activity of fungi, bacteria and yeasts isolates from municipal solid wastes (MSW) vis-à-vis their waste utilization capacity. Statistical model indicated that a change in bacterial density is a function of the levels of carbon dioxide released, pH and weight loss in municipal solid wastes.
