There is a possibility of CO2 leakage from the storage reservoir during carbon sequestration and storage (CSS) process and this may lead to kick in nearby reservoir being drilled. The CO2 kick, when it comes into contact with the drilling mud, will tend to alter the properties of the drilling mud.
