A group that provides an opportunity for Christian fellowship, the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI), Prime Chapter, Ota, Ogun State, has promised to support the Vice-Chancellor, Covenant University, Professor AAA. Atayero, in his efforts towards the actualisation of the University’s vision of becoming one of the top 10 universities in the world in the next few years.

The group made the declaration on Wednesday, 14th of February 2018, when they paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor.

The President, Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, Professor Rowland Worlu, in his remarks, stated that the aim of the visit was to identify the chapter with the University, state its operational plan and show appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor for his continuous support towards the Chapter.

“The Chapter runs on an operational plan that sees every member introducing five individuals to Christ, pray for them and lastly, connect, communicate, and share Jesus in the full gospel way to these set of individuals. We urge the Vice-Chancellor to continue his good works and also assure him that we will give him the backing needed to fulfill the vision of the university,” said Professor Worlu.

In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor AAA Atayero, also a member of the fellowship stated that love is the greatest gift of all to humankind and Jesus was a perfect example of the display of love. Citing the University’s vision and her latest achievements, the Vice-Chancellor attributed the feats to a constant commitment to the things of God.

He congratulated the FGBMFI team on their ingenuity and asked God to continue to increase their works in spreading the gospel of Christ and bringing greater unity among all people in the body of Christ.

Earlier during the visit, there was a formal introduction of the Chapter’s new executives as well as prayers for the Vice-Chancellor, his family and the University as a whole.
