Covenant Crosses 4000 Publications Volume in Scopus
Covenant University, the biggest mover in the recently released 2020 World University Rankings of the Times Higher Education (THE), has crossed the 4000 publications volume threshold in Elsevier's Scopus, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature.
According to Scopus, Covenant had as at Sunday, September 15, 2019, recorded a total of 4,016 documents, which was yet another milestone in the stewardship of the current Management of the University.
From a very humble beginning featuring a publications profile of just 452 in 2016, when the Vice-Chancellor, Professor AAA. Atayero, took the reins of Management, there had since been a year on year upsurge, with the University recording 1186 publications in 2018 alone.
Scopus had recently ranked six (6) Covenant faculty among the top 10 authors in Nigeria by publication volume within the period 2014-2020.
