70% of Worldwide Top Authors in Atmospheric Aerosols, Optical Depth from Covenant!

 

Covenant’s ever growing research prowess has once again come to the fore, with the latest computation by SciVal showing that 70% of the top 10 authors in T.85652 (Atmospheric Aerosols; Optical Depth) are from God’s own University.

According to the computation of authors’ output on Scopus, covering the period between 2014 and January 22, 2022, Covenant had not less than seven (7) members of her faculty among the top 10 authors in Atmospheric Aerosols; Optical Depth worldwide.

Indeed, the first three authors in the list were from Covenant. These included Dr Moses Emetere and Professor Marvel Akinyemi, both of the Department of Physics, and Dr Samuel Sanni of the Department of Chemical Engineering.

Dr Emetere, whose research interest is Multidisciplinary Modelling, had 97 output, 905 views count, and 0.52 field-weighted citation impact; Professor Akinyemi, with research interests in Modeling Varying Climatic Conditions and Land Surface Recovery in Africa among others, had 29 output, 204 views count, and 0.77 field-weighed citation impact; while Dr Sanni, with research interests in Petroleum processing, Chemical Reaction kinetics, and others, had 14 output, 72 views count, and 0.03 field-weighted citation impact.

Other Covenant authors in the list were Professor Temidayo Omotosho of the Department of Physics (6 scholarly output, 57 views count, and 0.11 field-weighted citation impact); Engr. Emmanuel Okoro of Petroleum Engineering Department (4 scholarly output, 19 views count, and 0.00 field-weighted citation impact); Engr. (Mrs) Temitayo Oladimeji of Chemical Engineering Department (4 scholarly output, 26 views count, and 0.62 field-weighted citation impact); and Mr. Akinloye Akinwumi of the Physics Department (3 scholarly output, 25 views count, and 0.28 field-weighted citation impact).
